Guamaní Private School has a long history going back to its founding in 1914 in the neighboring town of Aguirre. With an enrollment of over 550 students in grades pre-kindergarten through twelfth, Guamaní Private School is the largest and most well-established English-speaking college-preparatory school in southeastern Puerto Rico, accredited by The AdvancED Accreditation Comission and The Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.

Guayama is a small city of about 40,000 situated on the Caribbean coast with mountains bordering the city to the north. It offers both the charm of a historic and traditional Puerto Rican community, as well as modern restaurants, stores, and theaters.

The Guamani Private School admits students of any race, color or national and ethnic origin to all rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the bases of race, color, or national and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admission policies and athletic and other school administered programs.
